                               SUCTION PREVENTION FOR GYPSUM PLASTERS

Area of application : 

Priming of high absorption plaster backgrounds, for interior use, that cause delamination or uneven shrinkage tension of plaster and would prevent normal drying if not properly pretreated . For gypsum plasters. 

Application : 

Depending on the absorption of the substrate, dilute 1 part by volume of BAUTEC STUC-PRIM with 1 to max. 3 parts of tap water. Spray evenly onto substrate or apply with a lambskin roller or brush. Do not apply with substrate or air temperatures colder than + 5 °C. Do not allow temperature to fall below this level until the primer is dry. Do not apply plaster until the primed surface has dried out completely (min. 6 hours) 

Coverage : 

Approx. 100 g/m2 undiluted. Do not apply the coating until the BAUTEC STUC-PRIM has completely dried (at least 6 hours) 

Characteristics

- Lengthens the working time of plasters on very high suction backgrounds by helping    them retain water, and minimises potential for adhesion failure caused by rapid dry-out

- Yellow in colour - easy to avoid missing any areas

- Large container allows application directly from the tub

- Helps to consolidate dusty backgrounds

Storage 

It can be stored for at least 12 months in the original unopened container in a cool and frost-free (+5 °C to +25 °C) environment. Close opened buckets airtight. Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat.
